Since 2007, AC&G has participated as a business consultant in the creation of Innovative Business Groups (A.E.I.s) or clusters, promoted by different business groupings, in industrial and service sectors with a high concentration of small and medium companies.
The AEI start-ups are characterised by the significant presence of smaller businesses, the existence of some large company and/or a driving organisation, knowledge / technology transfer centres, and specialised training. These agencies need to be within easy geographical reach of each other and should be able to involve themselves in joint innovative projects which, by their nature or dimension, transcend the resources of the individual businesses involved.
